What wedding entertainment covers
Ceremony musicians, reception DJs or bands, MCs, and sometimes a cultural performance. The venue's power, noise rules and finish time decide what is possible. Match the act to the room: a villa neighbour will not thank you for a late band, while a hotel ballroom can take more volume. Book once the venue and reception format are fixed, and compare any in-house DJ against this directory before you assume you must use theirs.
Questions to ask before booking
- What is the latest you can play at this venue, and who enforces it?
- Do you bring your own PA, and has it been used at this site?
- What happens in rain - indoor switch, acoustic set, or cancellation terms?
- Can you cover both ceremony and reception, or is that two bookings?
Common questions
Can we have a DJ at a Bali villa wedding?
Often yes, until the time the villa or the neighbours say stop. Get the finish time in writing from the venue before you book the DJ. Some streets are residential and the cutoff is early.
Do we need a separate ceremony musician?
Not always. Some DJs or acoustic players cover both. Ceremony audio still needs a microphone your guests can hear. Ask for a combined quote so you are not double-booking by accident.
Will entertainment travel to Uluwatu or Ubud?
Many teams based in south Bali will travel. Remote villas may need extra setup time and a discussion about power. Include the venue name in the enquiry.
